Delicate Kahelelani shells and beads threaded onto Sterling Silver or 14K gold earrings. Kahelelani shells are tiny shells found on the beaches of Kauai. Every shell is unique, so there will be some color variation in every pair of earrings. These are the same type of shell used to make the world famous Ni`ihau shell leis, but they can not be called Ni`ihau shells unless they were picked from the shores of Ni`ihau Island.
The 'Ohana" Style is a threader earring, meaning you slide the rear portion of the earring through your ear instead of using a traditional post or hook. These are handmade in Koloa, Hawaii by Bonnie Vannoy of Makai Designs. All shells are handpicked from the beaches of Kauai.
