Emerge
Original linocut print on handmade paper. The paper for this print is made by a small scale professional paper maker using the sustainable Lotka plant. This plant is only grown in the Himalayas and is known for it's superior ink retention and sustainable cultivation. The print measures about 11" wide x 8.5" tall. It is printed on white paper using either blue or black ink.
Each piece of art by Tedious Little Things is an original print of a hand carved linoleum block. Prints and paper will vary to some degree due to the hand printing process, no two prints are identical. We consider small variations amongst prints and paper to be part of the beauty of original block prints.
Block printing is a very slow art process, and blocks wear out over time. "Emerge" will be limited to 70 prints, most of which are already sold.
This piece is available framed or unframed. The framed version is inked in blue and is number 54 out of 70. It has been framed up to 11x14 in a custom Mahogany Wood frame. The framed piece ships for free within the USA.
